Chamber Music 2000+ is thrilled to announce the creation of a new prize, in association with
Pro Corda’s Chamber Music Festival 2013.
The Chamber Music 2000 Prize is open to piano trios in the U16 & U19 categories and will be awarded based on high commendation in the qualifying round of CMF 2013.
The set work is ‘Coyote Star Song’ by David Knotts – music and parts can be ordered or downloaded online, through Cadenza Music.
The winner of the prize will receive the following:
1) A prestigious performance platform at the Chamber Music 2000 ‘Relaunch Concert’. This will form part of the Schubert Ensemble’s ’30th Anniversary Festival’ at Kings Place, London on Saturday 9th March 2013.
2) A complimentary coaching session with the Lawson Trio in advance of the concert.
